October week

Nursery will be closed on Monday the 12th of October and for the rest of that week for the October week holiday.
Monday 19th is an in service day so we’ll look forward to welcoming you all back on Tuesday 20 th . Have fun if you’re lucky enough to be doing something nice.

Outward Bound

This will be starting on Monday 26th of October and the children involved will be bringing permission slips home to you soon. Please complete and return these. It’s essential that when it’s your childs turn that they arrive in nursery dressed for the weather. It can be muddy at the park so wellies are essential! We will go out in all weathers with the exception of high winds or lightning. We’re looking forward to getting this up and running again as it was such a big hit last year.

Halloween

I’m afraid Covid has put paid to usual massive Halloween fundraiser this year, but that’s not going to stop us having fun!! We’ll be having an Halloween party here in Nursery for the children on Friday 30th of October during the morning session. Children can dress up and there will be party games, party snack etc, and prizes to be won. Should be fun!!

Ross

I’m still waiting on Tara (Ross’ replacement) PVG coming back from Disclosure Scotland, so I’m afraid I still don’t have a leaving date for Ross. As soon as it’s all finalised I’ll let you all know.

Change of clothes

Can you all please double check that your child has a change of clothes in their bag please. Now that the cold
weather is here, I hate sending wee ones out at home time with damp sleeves or the like, so do make sure they have
something to change into.

Take care everyone, and if you’ve any comments or questions around any of the above, please get in touch.
