Decorations
Remember you can order tree decorations or snow globes, made by your very own little elf here in nursery! They make a lovely, personal gift for extended family and can be ordered by emailing me on the manager@ email address. Tree decs are £3 or 2 for £5, and the snow globes are £3 each. They come in festive gift bags too. Get your orders in as we’ll be setting a cut off date quite soon.
Xmas Party
Our Xmas party will be on Thursday 22nd of December at 12 noon. All children are invited to attend, even if Thursday is not one of their usual days. Just let me know in advance so I have an idea around numbers. Tara will make a festive party snack for everyone, there will be dancing, games and prizes to be won. Can’t wait!!
Xmas Show and Santa visit
Your all invited in at 1pm on Friday 23rd of December to see our Xmas show! Having worked in nurseries for as long as I have, I gotten to know Santa pretty well over the years – and he’s promised he’s going to try and pop in for a visit after the show – lucky us!!
Nursery will close at 2pm on the 23rd. That will allow parents with school pick ups to negotiate plenty of time to get to the local schools by 2.30. Nursery will then be closed until Thursday 5th of January.
Outward Bound
The current cohort still have another couple of outings to go. Please remember to send them in with wellies and waterproofs if you have them. It will save your washing as the woods are still quite muddy after all the recent rain.
So it’s the last newsletter of 2022. The team and I want to wish you all a very safe and happy festive season. Have fun if you’re doing something nice!! Thank you so much for all your support and good wishes this year, and it’s so amazing to be able to invite you all in to events again – that was something I really missed during the pandemic. Enjoy yourselves, enjoy the precious family time, and we hope to see you at some of the upcoming festive events.
